These terms apply to your use of adamsmarine.co.uk. By using the site you accept them. They cover the website only; any work I carry out on your boat is agreed separately when I quote for it.

About me

This website is run by Adam Puchowicz, a sole trader trading as Adam’s Marine.

Information on this site

The content of this website is general information about my services. It is not a quote and not technical advice for your particular boat or engine. Prices, availability and the work needed depend on the job, so please contact me for advice specific to you. I try to keep the site accurate and up to date but cannot guarantee that it always is.

Quotes and bookings

Every job is quoted before work starts. A quote or booking becomes binding only once we have both agreed it, by email, text or in writing. Your rights as a consumer under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 — including that services are carried out with reasonable care and skill — are not affected by anything on this website.

If you are a consumer and we agree the work by phone, email or message, or away from my workshop (for example at your boat), you have the right to cancel within 14 days of agreeing it, without giving a reason, under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. To cancel, just tell me by email or phone. If you ask me to start work within those 14 days, you will pay for the work done up to the point you cancel, and once the work is fully completed the right to cancel ends.

Photos and content

The text, photos, videos and logo on this website belong to Adam’s Marine unless stated otherwise. You may view and share links to them for personal use, but you may not copy or reuse them for commercial purposes without my permission. Engine and equipment brand names are trademarks of their owners and are used only to describe the engines I work on; I am not an authorised dealer for any of them unless stated.

The site links to Instagram, YouTube and Google Maps. I have no control over those sites and am not responsible for their content or how they use your data.

Liability

I do not exclude or limit liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Otherwise, I am not liable for any loss arising from your use of the information on this website, or from the site being unavailable, as it is provided free of charge for general information.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.
